Day 21: But Victory Seems So Far Away

What is something positive you have gained from your weight loss journey so far?

Lysa says to be joyful, prayerful and thankful. I like this because I use the quote a lot,
"Don't think about how far you have to go, but how far you have come." 
When we continue to pay attention to what hasn't happened yet, we lose focus on the present and what progress we have already had. We also tend to give up because we feel that it is taking too long or nothing is working. This is why those small goals she talks about are so important. Also why I say to make those goals realistic. We are going to fail sometimes, but we should try harder not to set ourselves up for failure. It's trial and error trying to figure out what works best for you personally and physically. Hopefully you saw my photo I posted of my new goals in our Facebook group and remember I'm looking forward to seeing yours written as well. I found those things are important for me right now to be able to get to the losing weight or seeing definition process. They are also common every day things that all of us should do. Once I create some better habits, I can make more personal goals that work just for me.
